WHAT WE ARE?
A ministry focused on christian women -ministers’ wives- whose goal is to reach, know, touch, minister, love and support them as they face daily struggles without anyone to turn to for a friendly touch, a word of advise nor spiritual and/or moral support.
WHY?
I have been a pastor’s wife and God’s minister for over 32 years. Throughout this role and visiting all countries in central and south America I have found hurt women, beaten down by life, rejected, humiliated, manipulated, with low self esteem but also many of them are confused with their role as women, as wives, as mothers, struggling with life not having a clear vision of God’s calling for them.
Therefore, OREMI offers orientation, help and specially love for these women who have not been valued by their husbands, church, society and by themselves nor are they at the place of honor that God has destined for all women of the World.
WHO?
A team formed by women leaders, pastors’ wives with a vision and a calling given from God. This team’s goal is to provide at it’s best, ministry tools, a friendly hand and most of all a willing heart to give our all into seeking the excellence of each woman as she walks next to a servant of God and as she walks on her own through life.
HOW?
- Running a census of all pastor’s wives and leaders in each country.
- Organizing meetings of bonding and friendship as small groups.
- Putting together national gatherings.
- Preparing seminars to equip them in different areas.
- Doing camps of two to three days long.
- Organizing international encounters once a year.
- Providing learning/educational schools (write, read, beauty, sewing, computers, etc.)
- Offering Medical check ups.
- Conferences with relevant topics.
- Providing them with home and personal supplies
- Developing three meetings a year with the OREMI staff.
What fruits, what results, and what specific changes would we see in the life of those touched?
As a result of this teamwork I strongly believe that every woman’s self esteem will be lifted and placed on the level that God wants for His daughters. Women that understand their value and women that will give their best to God, to their husbands, to their children, to their church and to society. We believe this ministry will contribute to the improvement of the circle of family, to the restoration of rebelled kids, to the strengthening of the pastoral ministry, to the place in ministry for each pastor’s wife as well as the impact in the community’s outreach for the kingdom of God.
